IoT and Sensor-based Smart Agriculturing Driven by NodeMCU
Abstract
Smart agriculture, sometimes called precision or digital farming, is a method of farming that maximizes the throughput and efficiency of farming practices by utilizing technology and data. This is a promising and exciting development in the agriculture industry as it has the potential to change how we grow and produce food altogether. Smart agriculture is still in its infancy, as Internet of Things (IoT) sensors can gather data about agricultural fields and act accordingly based on user input. The development of an intelligent agriculture system that takes advantage of cutting-edge technologies like IoT, NodeMCU and WSN is suggested in this paper. The paper aims to use automation and emerging technologies, such as IoT and smart agriculture. One of the main ways to increase the amount of fruitful crops produced is to monitor the surrounding conditions. This paper describes developing a system that uses sensors based on a NodeMCU to monitor moisture, temperature, and humidity.
