Recognition of the performance of lithium-ion batteries beneath harsh conditions like power-driven shock is essential since they are comprehensively used in multiple electronic devices and electric cars. The existing study examines the consequences of drop testing on lithium-ion battery cell parameters to ascertain their impact resistance and safety implications. A scenario is set up where accidental impacts are simulated by drop-testing lithium-ion battery cells, similar to when such batteries are contained within gadgets or vehicles. Cell voltage, capacity, internal resistance, and temperature changes will be the significant parameters to be investigated. Thus, comprehensive data collection and analysis will be conducted before and after drop testing to assess how far the cells have been affected. The results from this experiment give an idea about the mechanical vulnerability of Li-ion batteries, which could affect safety and performance. It would be essential to know how critical fall tests influence elements because they contribute towards safer design constructions for batteries and enhanced protective measures in conjunction with better safety standards during the designing and manufacturing processes for Li-ion batteries.
