To Increase the Heating Temperature and to Put Alarm System in a Machine

Abstract

In this study, we shall discuss a machine where there are 4 heating zones for drying purposes. These shall be modified to increase the existing heating capacity of the machine. The heater zone is there in the machine for the process of drying and for better results. The heater used is a finned tubed heater. These heaters operate at 230 volts. Here, we will change the capacity and design of the existing heater with a new one. Also, there is no provision for the alarm system if any blower or heater does not start or stop. We will put a temperature controller with a hooter system aligned with the online system to operate at a set temperature, which is done in the temperature controller. The old heater that was used had an 80⁰C heating range, resulting in a production capacity. After changing the design of the heater, we shall achieve 100–110⁰C heating, which shall help in increasing the production quantity and improve product quality. In this study, we shall also discuss two kaizen done for the improvement of the machine, process, and product.
