A Study to Assess Knowledge About Screening and Vaccination for Cervical Cancer Prevention Among Women Aged 25-40 Years in Selected Hospitals at Salem

A descriptive survey was conducted in selected hospitals of Salem regarding knowledge about screening and vaccination for cervical cancer prevention among women aged between 25 and 40 years. A convenience sampling technique was used to select the sample. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire to assess knowledge regarding cervical cancer screening and vaccination. Aim: A study to assess knowledge about screening and vaccination for cervical cancer prevention among women aged 25-40 years in selected hospitals at Salem. Design: A descriptive research design was used. Results: Survey results on knowledge about cervical cancer screening and vaccination among women aged 25-40 years. The results of the present study show that out of the sample of 30, 70 percent have an average level of knowledge, 20 percent have an adequate level of knowledge, and 10 percent have a low level of knowledge.
