Abstract

The study focuses on how advanced conductors boost transmission capacity at higher temperatures. The study explores the pros and cons of adding these advanced conductors to transmission lines. The research examines ways to use these materials' better heat-conducting capabilities to improve transmission network efficiency, power losses, and reliability. This study examines advanced conductors' temperature tolerance, electrical characteristics, and mechanical qualities. These novel technologies will be compared to standard transmission infrastructure conductors. A key aspect of the research is assessing the increased transmission capacity of advanced conductors. The study will examine immediate and long-term benefits like decreased energy loss and better conductor performance at high temperatures. A thorough cost-benefit analysis will determine advanced conductors' economic viability. This analysis will address the conductor enhancement investment and the cost savings and income gains from increased transmission capacity. Regulatory compliance will be examined to ensure the proposed conductor improvement meets safety and environmental standards. The installation of advanced conductors will be risk-assessed and mitigating strategies will be proposed. This analysis tries to illuminate the pros and cons of using advanced conductors to increase transmission capacity. Stakeholders can use the results to optimise and improve transmission lines.
