Abstract

The article "A Review of 2 to 4 Line Decoders" explores the functionality, design, and applications of decoders with 2 to 4 input lines. Digital circuits require decoders because they transform binary data into a particular output depending on the input signal they receive. In a digital system, decoders play a great role in the field of electronics. For the construction of a 2 to 4 line decoder, some components are required such as AND gate and NOT gate, integrated circuits, resistors, LEDs, analogue switches and a power supply. The decoders are used for translating the coded data and change into an understandable format. The form of binary input is given to the decoder and the decoder changes the binary input into digital output and the output depends on a given input. This article aims to explore the concept of a 2 to 4 decoder, comprehensively examining its functionality, delving into its truth table, and exploring various applications where it finds utility.
