Abstract

A device known as an automatic ration dispenser ensures accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in the supply chain while automating the process of distributing rationed items and minimizing the need for human interaction. The gadget dispenses predefined amounts of necessities, including rice, wheat, sugar, and other groceries. It combines hardware elements such as sensors, microcontrollers, and a storage system managed by digital interfaces or embedded software. The system's main objective is to tackle problems such as irregularities in the rationing process, mismanagement, and corruption in Public Distribution Systems (PDS). The system ensures that only authorized users receive their portions using smart card identification or biometric verification (such as fingerprint or iris scanning). The generated data is recorded and synchronized with centralized databases for monitoring and auditing purposes. By keeping digital records of distributions, the Automatic Ration Dispenser improves accountability by lowering the possibility of fraud or manual errors. Additionally, it offers a user-friendly interface that streamlines and expedites the collection process.
