Abstract

This work aims to create several new imidazole derivatives with possible biological activity and to synthesize and thoroughly characterize them. The study uses a multistep synthetic strategy that combines many chemical events to incorporate different functional groups and improve the pharmacological properties of the target molecules. Molecular composition and purity are confirmed by applying sophisticated spectroscopic techniques, including mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), in the structural elucidation of the synthesized derivatives. To determine a compound's potential as an antimicrobial agent, antimicrobial screening is used to evaluate the compound's effectiveness against a panel of bacterial and fungal strains. Additionally, the study evaluates the antioxidant qualities of the compounds, providing insight into their capacity to counteract oxidative stress. The results of this study provide important new information about the structure-activity relationship of imidazole derivatives as well as valuable insights into possible pharmaceutical uses. The new chemicals created in this work could be excellent options for additional research and development as medicinal agents, meeting the increasing need for cutting-edge and potent medications across various medical specialities.
