Cardiovascular disease is a major cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 61 million Americans suffer from heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease claimed the lives of almost 87,000 Americans in 200 hours. In the United States, coronary heart disease kills people more than 900 times every day, accounting for around 40% of all fatalities. According to estimates, the annual risk for persons aged 35 and beyond is approximately 1 in 1000. An evaluative methodology was used in this investigation. A single group pre- and posttest design is used to collect data for the pre-experimental investigation. Adolescents ' level of awareness about leading a healthy lifestyle to prevent cardiac issues is the study's dependent variable. The structured teaching program on healthy lifestyle information to prevent cardiovascular diseases among adolescents in chosen PU colleges at Kalaburagi, on the other hand, is the study's independent variable. The tool consisted of two parts: Section I: Factors Related to Demographics, Section II: Organized knowledge survey on leading a healthy lifestyle to prevent cardiac issues. The 60 teenagers who attended particular PU institutions in Kalaburagi made up the sample for this investigation. Purposive sampling was employed to choose the samples, and the findings were analysed and interpreted using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study was conducted in April 2024. The results of the study showed that 35% of participants had moderate knowledge and 65% had inadequate knowledge on the pretest, while 45% had appropriate knowledge and 55% had moderate knowledge on the posttest. The computed "t" value of 16.55 is greater than the table value at the 0.05 level of significance. As a result, the "t" value is deemed significant. It suggests that taking part in structured training programs has raised adolescents' level of knowledge. The nurse education program significantly improved the adolescents' understanding of the value of leading a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent cardiovascular illnesses.
