Abstract

Heart disease and cardiovascular events are becoming more and more common worldwide. Due to several important risk factors, heart disease is today one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and its incidence is rising daily. Heart attacks, coronary artery disease, and hypertension are among the cardiovascular illnesses that are becoming more common due to sedentary lifestyles, poor eating habits, and rising obesity rates. An expert combination of cardiac scientific knowledge, perceptive assessment abilities in adapting to patient situations, and the capacity to act promptly with necessary nursing interventions are needed for high-quality cardiovascular (CV) nursing. Cardiac nursing has grown increasingly sophisticated in recent years due to developments in medical research, including pharmaceutical, device therapies, and supportive technology as a bridge or destination therapy for transplantation. The skill criteria for CV nurses have expanded in light of this cutting-edge equipment and expanded surgical and interventional methods.
