A Descriptive Study on Health Status of Initial Hypertension and Their Lifestyles Aged Between 35-75 Years, Both Male and Female, in Kavudavadi Chamarajanagara

Background of the Study: Encyclopaedically, the overall frequency of high blood pressure in adults aged 25 and over was around 40% in 2008. The number of people with hypertension rose from 600 million in 1980 to nearly 1 billion in 2008. The frequency has significantly advanced in the senior population. World-wide raised blood pressure is estimated to beget 7.5 million deaths, about 12.5 total periodic deaths. This accounts for 57 million DAILY (Disability Acclimated Life Times) or 3.7 of total DAILY’S. In addition to coronary heart conditions and complication of raised blood pressure include heart failure, supplemental vascular complaint, renal impairment, retinal haemorrhage and visual impairment. Blood pressure can be managed with medicines as well as non-pharmacological measures which consists of exercise, weight reduction, salt restriction, eating fruit and vegetables etc. Non-pharmacological measures play an important part in the management of hypertension. The present study was done to assess knowledge of hypertension and its associated risk factors.
Objectives
•To determine the accurate number of the people in the initial stage of hypertension.
•To study the lifestyle of people with the initial stage of hypertension.
•To assess the knowledge regarding the initial stage of hypertension and its prevention among hypertensive patients.
•To determine people’s interest in participating in health camps.
Data Collection Method: Both male and female aged between 35 to 75 in rural area Kavudavadi were selected by convenient sampling after getting informal permission from the gram panchayat member participate of Kavudavadi closed end questions related data was collected.
Data Analysis Method: Data will be analysed using descriptive statistics such as Frequency and percentage.
Result: In this study one group retest, post-test, pr-experimental study design was espoused. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result of the study was bandied according to the objects. Blood pressure among hypertension patients. Patients attended four educational units held by a hypertension nanny and croakers. The result of the study showed the programme capability to ameliorate intermediate issue in hypertensive cases as their knowledge position was bettered significantly. Better blood pressure control and a significant reduction of the individual cardiovascular threat profile were achieved. The subject was handed a repeated health education session and information about hypertension. After the intervention, it was established that the knowledge station and practice of cases related to hypertension operations were improved.
Conclusion: The knowledge mean score related to the basic concept of related to basic concept of type I-hypertension it causes to type I hypertension 30(37.5%) majority of respondents feel food practice.26(32.5%) respondents feel hereditary and 14(17.5%) of respondents feels stressful life and 10(12.5%) of respondent feel life style. Majority, 33(41.25%) respondents are hereditary, 21(26.5%) of respondents are non-hereditary, 15(18.75%) of respondents are communicable and 11(13.75%) of respondents are non-communicable the type I Hypertension occurs in the majority 50(62.5%) of respondents feel food product and 33(41.25%) of respondents feels hereditary.
