Abstract

Nursing education in recent days is increasingly focusing on improving the teaching-learning Process, methods of Evaluation, and integration of technological advancements. Advancements in the teaching-learning Process include revision of the nursing curriculum with emphasis on competency-based education, use of simulations and virtual reality in mastering skills, use of blended Learning and flipped classrooms, and focus on inter-professional education. Changes in the assessment system include a shift towards a credit system, grading system, use of OSCE/ OSCE in practical examinations, and emphasis on continuous and comprehensive Evaluation. Technological advancements include interactive learning tools, simulations, and virtual reality to build competency and provide a blended learning environment.
