The integration of cyber-physical systems (CPS) in medicine has revolutionized healthcare delivery, diagnostics, treatment and patient monitoring. As a result of the present study, medical cyber-physical systems (MCPS) will be thoroughly examined in terms of their advancements, challenges, and prospects. A systematic review of existing literature and case studies has been conducted to provide an overview of the fundamental concepts, architecture, applications, and potential impact of MCPS in healthcare. This research will focus on wearable medical devices, remote patient monitoring, smart healthcare infrastructure, as well as artificial intelligence-driven medical diagnostics, among other topics. Several critical concerns related to the deployment of MCPS are also addressed in the paper, such as data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and ethical considerations. Researchers, practitioners and policymakers can benefit from the findings of this study in terms of understanding current trends and emerging technologies that help them learn how to harness the full potential of MCPS to improve healthcare outcomes while addressing the associated challenges at the same time.
