In response to the disproportionately high rate of fatal traffic accidents on curved roads during night time, this research paper comprehensively explores advancements in automobile forward-lighting systems. The primary focus is designing and developing a prototype for steerable headlights, introducing a cost-effective and reliable solution to enhance the performance of traditional static headlamps. Rigorous testing, utilizing readily available market components, evaluates system accuracy, response time, and overall impact. The research delves into diverse test scenarios, thoroughly discussing results and valuable insights that pave the way for potential future enhancements. Furthermore, the integration of visibility sensors emerges as a critical component, strategically implemented to mitigate collision risks, particularly in challenging conditions such as low-visibility scenarios, including fog and uphill drives. The proposed adaptive headlight system emerges as a promising avenue for improving night time safety on curved roads, addressing critical aspects of performance and visibility in diverse driving conditions.
