A Review Paper on Intelligent Fire Extinguisher Robot with 360-Degree Camera Surveillance

Abstract

Robots have become important today as they are capable of doing tasks that humans cannot do easily. This project deals with the concept of a firefighting robotic vehicle. The proposed project deals with the possibility of a firefighting mechanical vehicle that has different strategies for action. The mechanical vehicle can be controlled physically which can be utilized to stifle the fire utilizing a remote controller. We have included two modes of operation in manual control: remote control and voice control in voice control mode. The robotic vehicle can be controlled using voice commands so that the user can navigate the robotic vehicle with voice commands. The proposed project also implements a robotic arm to facilitate fire extinguishing at different heights. The vehicle is also equipped with a camera that can feed live video from the robotic vehicle wirelessly and help in navigation by visuals from the camera. The vehicle also implements autonomous mode which will automatically detect the fire using the sensors on the robotic vehicle, move to fire location and automatically extinguish the fire.
