Beginning with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), established in 1954 to fulfil the electronic equipment requirements of the Indian armed forces, the narrative traverses through Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Coal India Limited (CIL), GAIL (India) Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
