Tipy Do – A Digital Tipping Platform

This paper presents a Digital Restaurant Management System designed to optimize restaurant operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and streamline workflows through QR code technology. The system aims to eliminate common inefficiencies in the restaurant industry, such as manual order processing errors, mismanaged table assignments, and delayed service, by implementing a fully automated and user-friendly platform. A secure login portal enables restaurant managers to efficiently manage restaurant details, update menu offerings, oversee employee records, and monitor real-time analytics related to table occupancy, order status, and payment processing. This data-driven approach allows for better decision-making and ensures seamless restaurant operations. Employees are provided with a dedicated interface where they can access real-time table availability, assign themselves to tables, and track customer orders, ensuring fair workload distribution and reducing service delays. At the core of the system is its QR code integration, which modernizes the dining experience by allowing customers to interact with the restaurant's services effortlessly. Each table is assigned a unique QR code that customers can scan using their smartphones to access a digital menu, explore food options, customize meals, and place orders directly without the need for a server. This minimizes order miscommunication and enhances efficiency. Additionally, customers can request supplementary services such as refills or utensils through the digital interface, further improving their dining experience.
