The proposed system comprises a PV array, an (MPPT) Maximum Power Point Tracking for energy conservation, a DC-DC converter for voltage stability, and a battery management system. The MPPT Maximum Power Point Tracking, algorithm optimally keeps the operating point of the PV array at its maximum power output for varying irradiance and temperature conditions. The bidirectional DC-DC converter allows for controlled charging and discharging to the battery. The control system ensures optimal power flow while adhering to battery charging constraints, such as State of Charge (SoC), voltage, and current limits. Simulation results in MATLAB/Simulink demonstrate the system's ability to efficiently charge the battery under different environmental conditions while minimizing energy losses. The model also provides insights into the impact of converter design and control strategies on system performance. This study contributes to developing reliable and efficient energy storage solutions for PV systems, enhancing their applicability in grid-connected and off-grid scenarios.
