Abstract

India is the most populous country in the world and most of the people use public transport. Issuing tickets to all passengers manually during rush hours is a time-consuming, laborious, and tedious task. The possibility of ticket fraud is also high in this case. This is detrimental to the forest as the tickets are made of paper and become unusable once the passengers get off the bus. Passengers should keep their tickets safe until they reach their destination. Therefore, to overcome all these problems, we recommend a smart ticket card that will issue tickets to passengers. The RFID concept is used in public transport cards, which is a reliable system that can track passengers and reduce travel-related costs.
