Internet of Robotics Things in Industrial Applications: A Study
Abstract
The introduction of robotics into industrial processes has resulted in significant changes in the manufacturing, logistics, and other industries. The significant increases in productivity, efficiency, and safety brought forth by this technological innovation have ushered in this era of industrial operations. IoRT refers to the idea of making sure that devices are linked to the internet in a safe, reliable, and trustworthy manner in addition to just connecting them. IoRT emerges as a vital paradigm that prioritizes reliability and trust throughout the whole device and data lifetime, at a time when cyberattacks and data breaches are commonplace. The automated and data-driven decision-making processes that enterprises employ have undergone a significant evolution thanks to the Internet of Robotic Things (IoRT). The consequences of IoRT on industrial applications have grown in significance as the integration of robotics and IoT continues to spread, especially in industries like manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management. The purpose of this study is to compile research results while discussing the advantages, difficulties, and potential applications of IoRT in industrial environments. AI and machine learning are expected to continue advancing as IoRT matures, enhancing the capabilities of robotic systems. Innovations in IoRT will be fueled by the growing emphasis on sustainable practices, which will also encourage energy-efficient industrial process solutions. Furthermore, businesses will probably feel more comfortable implementing IoRT technology on a large scale as cybersecurity defenses get more advanced.
