Abstract

The sheer number of spammy or irrelevant emails flooding consumers' inboxes poses a significant challenge to email marketing. The study titled "A Study on Challenges of Consumers towards E-Mail Marketing" investigates the obstacles and gathers insights into customer perceptions regarding the issues associated with email marketing. Focusing on Coimbatore, the study collected and analyzed 150 customer responses to provide a comprehensive overview. SPSS software was used for data analysis, employing descriptive statistics and basic percentage analysis techniques.

One of the major issues identified is the high number of unsubscribes, which reflects customer dissatisfaction with email marketing practices. Addressing these challenges is crucial for improving the customer experience and maintaining the effectiveness of email marketing strategies. The study aims to offer valuable insights into strategies and tactics that can enhance the success of email marketing campaigns.
