Abstract

The rapid growth of mobile commerce has significantly impacted consumer behaviour and purchasing patterns, especially in urban areas like Coimbatore District. Smytten, a mobile commerce platform offering a curated selection of premium lifestyle products, has gained attraction among consumers. This study investigates consumer awareness and satisfaction towards the Smytten app, specifically within Coimbatore District.

Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews, data was collected from Smytten app users residing in Coimbatore District. The findings indicate a moderate level of consumer awareness regarding the Smytten app, with a notable portion of respondents having heard of it but still needing to utilize it. Satisfaction levels are generally high among those who have used the app, particularly regarding product variety, user interface, and convenience. In the rapidly evolving landscape of consumer behaviour and digital engagement, mobile applications have become pivotal in reshaping consumer experiences. This study focuses on understanding consumer awareness and satisfaction, specifically towards the Smytten app in the Coimbatore district, India. Smytten offers a unique platform where consumers can discover and purchase premium products across various categories, such as beauty, grooming, and lifestyle, through sampling and purchasing options.

The objectives of this research are twofold: firstly, to assess the level of awareness among consumers in Coimbatore regarding the Smytten app, and secondly, to evaluate consumer satisfaction with the app's features, usability, and overall experience. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys to gather numerical data on awareness and satisfaction levels and qualitative interviews to delve deeper into consumer perceptions and experiences.
