The goal of this project is to offer a low-cost, continuous, and real-time cardiovascular health monitoring system, especially for rural and underserved areas. The wireless ECG system being proposed herein is an important link to connect hospital-based monitoring with patient-managed monitoring at reduced overall cost and increased user friendliness. The wireless wearable ECG system uses high-quality, reusable gel electrodes for comfortable and non-invasive monitoring without any adverse skin effects on the patient. Its wireless capability enhances patient mobility and eliminates signal corruption, ensuring accuracy and dependability of the data. The system proposes a 4th-order Butterworth digital filter for the elimination of interference and noise in ECG signals, allowing analysis of PQRST waveforms with great precision, which is of high importance in cardiovascular diagnosis. It minimizes power consumption by the use of low-power components and optimization of power management through the charging controller MPU6050. The custom PCB design of this device ensures it is durable and user-friendly for daily use by patients of all ages. Use of the IoT-enabled WiFi module facilitates the remote monitoring and, henceforth, helps realize the growing need for telemedicine in modern healthcare.
