The study aimed to assess the impact of an Information Education and Communication (IEC) program on childhood obesity among high school students in a selected school. A one-group pre-test and post-test design was utilized, with a sample size of 60 students. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire before and after the implementation of the teaching program. The pre-test knowledge score was 15.825% with a standard deviation of 4.079, while the post-test knowledge score increased to 20.65% with a standard deviation 3.496. The paired 't' test yielded a value of 9.046, indicating a significant difference in knowledge scores before and after the program implementation. This statistical significance at p<0.05 with degrees of freedom (39) confirmed the effectiveness of the IEC program. The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge scores following the IEC intervention, highlighting its effectiveness in educating high school students about childhood obesity.
