Antenatal care services are the services a pregnant woman receives during her pregnancy through consultations with trained health professionals. Satisfaction of the pregnant women is of fundamental importance as a measure of the quality of care that may affect the practices during her pregnancy period. The study's objectives were to assess the level of satisfaction and practices regarding antenatal care services, estimate the correlation between the level of satisfaction and practices, and determine the relationships between the level of satisfaction and practices and their socio-demographic variables, respectively. A descriptive survey design was adopted for the study among 110 pregnant women. The sample was selected using consecutive sampling. Data were collected using a self-structured 3-point Likert scale for satisfaction and an inventory checklist for practices provided to pregnant women. Findings showed that more than half (68.2%) of the pregnant women were partially satisfied. (20 %) of them were satisfied, and only (11.8%) were not confident regarding antenatal care services and practice; the majority (46.4%) of the pregnant women had average practice. (32.7 %) of them had good practice, and only (20.9%) of the pregnant women had poor practice regarding antenatal care. The result showed a strong positive correlation between the satisfaction and practices of significant association among pregnant women (p<0.001) and their satisfaction and socio-demographic variables and between practice and socio-demographic variables. The study concluded that pregnant women were partially satisfied regarding antenatal care services and had average antenatal care practices. Providing proper attention, information, counselling, and reassurance, establishing proper communication between pregnant women and health personnel, and improving quality series by adequate training facilities will enhance their satisfaction and practices regarding antenatal care services.
