Abstract

A study was conducted on analyzing and designing a multi-storey building with floating columns using STAAD Pro. Loads were calculated manually, including dead, imposed, and seismic loads with their combinations, and applied to the structure. The study explains the design process for building components. STAAD Pro provided detailed values of shear force, bending moment, and torsion for each element, ensuring compliance with IS code limits.
