Abstract

Optimizing security workflows in today's complex digital landscape is crucial to combat emerging threats and vulnerabilities effectively. Traditional security methods often need help with scalability, adaptability, and real time responsiveness. Human AI hybrid intelligence is pivotal in optimizing security workflows by enhancing threat detection, improving operational efficiency, and enabling proactive security measures. While challenges exist, the benefits of integrating AI with human expertise present a compelling case for organizations seeking to bolster their security posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape. This paper explores the integration of human AI hybrid intelligence as a transformative approach to address these challenges. Human AI hybrid intelligence leverages the strengths of human expertise and artificial intelligence to enhance decision making processes and operational efficiency. Organizations can achieve a more robust and dynamic security posture by synergizing human intuition with AI's analytical power. The proposed framework outlines how this hybrid intelligence model can be applied to security workflows, offering a detailed examination of its benefits and limitations. This study contributes to the growing knowledge of hybrid intelligence applications in security and provides actionable insights for improving security operations. In a hybrid intelligence framework, AI handles routine, high volume tasks such as data aggregation, threat detection, and initial incident triage. It filters and prioritizes alerts, reducing the noise and allowing security personnel to focus on the most critical issues. Humans then engage in higher order analysis, decision making, and strategic planning.
