With the world, becoming more automated and technology advancing exponentially, resources must be moved across the internet, necessitating using routers to link networks. Resources and data have been compromised because routers are vulnerable. Router vulnerabilities include single passwords, technical attacks, little authentication to the shared network, and password leakage to third parties. According to the study, the best way to increase router authentication is to implant an application that watches user input based on the device's MAC address. The encrypted password is delivered to the user, and fiction is sent to the administrator informing them of any changes. As a result, these routers offer exceptional security. Thus, having an application built inside a router and designed to monitor its users and security settings is a fantastic idea. An embedded program within the router maintains storage that houses device-related data.
