In earthquake-prone regions, the design and construction of buildings must go beyond conventional methods to ensure resilience, safety, and sustainability. With advancements in computational tools and Building Information Modelling (BIM), engineers and architects now have the ability to simulate, analyze, and visualize buildings with unprecedented accuracy. This research focuses on optimizing the design of a multi-storey Reinforced Concrete (RC) building using ETABS for structural analysis under seismic loads. By applying the Equivalent Static Lateral Force Method (ESLM) as per IS 1893:2016. The study demonstrates how technology-driven approaches can result in safer and more efficient construction. The results affirm that strategic use of modern tools significantly enhances the performance and planning of earthquake-resistant structures.
