Soil stabilization is the technique of enhancing the engineering characteristics of the soil which make it more stable. So, when the soil available is not appropriate for the construction, it becomes necessary for the intended purpose. It can be done using controlled compaction, proportioning, and adding different types of admixture and stabilizers. Soil stabilization is quite essential for construction work such as road pavement and foundation. Because engineering properties of the clayey soil are improved. This effort aims to estimate the effect of xanthan gum to be used as a modifier or stabilizer in the treatment of clayey soil. This program is experimental and evaluates some basic effects of the maintenance of the xanthan gum including unconfined compression test, compaction, and other engineering properties of the clayey soil like California bearing ratio. To find the best-case scenario tests were conducted to make the perfect model of the xanthan gum.
