Development of QR Enhanced Door Lock Security System via E-Mail Service Environment for Smart Home

Abstract

The most recent technologies are being used to fulfil the essential aim of providing a security system for any electrical equipment. To allow access to smart homes, automatic door locks connected to existing sensors are typically included to increase the usability of the smart home; the entrance door needs more autonomous, integrated, and intelligent capabilities. This work discusses the development of a secure door lock system for a smart home that uses Quick Response (QR) technology and a Raspberry Pi processor. The authorized person can monitor who has accessed the smart home. The purpose of the data recording system is to monitor all events that occur when users access the security door through the web-based. We include guest access to unlock the door of the smart home. Email web can be shared to ensure QR–code privacy protection and security. The purpose of the data logging system is to keep track of all activities that occur when users visit the security door through the website host. The record of the number of staff and students entering the room during business hours was maintained to test the system's operation.
