Abstract

The gig economy is rapidly expanding, yet students face significant challenges in accessing freelance opportunities due to limited experience, visibility issues, and high competition. Existing freelance platforms charge high service fees, lack student-specific support, and fail to provide tailored job-matching mechanisms. This paper proposes Freelancer MarketHub, a cost-effective, student-exclusive freelancing platform that connects students with job opportunities, internships, and academic collaborations. The platform ensures secure user authentication, real-time collaboration, and an efficient job-matching system while fostering skill development and career growth. Our methodology includes a structured system architecture comprising user verification, job posting, milestone tracking, and a review system. The proposed system is expected to enhance student employability while ensuring transparency, scalability, and affordability.
