Abstract

Recent advancements in robotics have spurred significant strides in autonomous systems, particularly in the realm of Human-robot Interaction (HRI). A pivotal facet of HRI involves robots accurately detecting and recognizing human faces. This research article delves into the conception and execution of an autonomous face detection robot, aiming to elevate HRI experiences. The proposed robot harnesses cutting-edge computer vision techniques to swiftly and accurately detect and recognize human faces in real-time, thereby empowering it to respond intelligently to human presence. The abstract delineates the comprehensive journey of designing and implementing this innovative system, spanning hardware configuration, software implementation, and experimental validation.

The design phase entails meticulous planning to ensure seamless integration of state-of-the-art technologies into the robot's framework. Hardware configuration is a critical component, encompassing the selection and assembly of components conducive to efficient face detection and recognition.
