Abstract

The user-friendly interface of the Smart Medicine Dispenser addresses pharmaceutical non-adherence by allowing exact scheduling based on dosage, frequency, and time via a digital display or mobile app. The automated dispensing system provides precision while reducing human mistakes. A complete reminder system that uses alarms and email messages caters to a wide range of patient preferences, improving adherence. In the event of a missed dose or a potential risk, emergency alerts are sent to specified contacts for immediate response. Real-time sensor monitoring provides insights into adherence behaviours, allowing for proactive healthcare intervention. Data security is stressed, with encrypted channels for alerts and emails, while patient confidentiality is maintained. The system engages patients beyond functionality by providing educational content, medicinal information, and individualized feedback. Individuals are empowered to manage their health using this strategy. The multiple qualities of the dispenser make it a game-changing healthcare solution. In a changing healthcare environment, the dispenser not only provides precision in medicine delivery but also allows for real-time monitoring, improving patient adherence and allowing healthcare providers to intervene more effectively. This study paper investigates the impact of the dispenser on patient outcomes, focusing on its function in enhancing medicine adherence, minimizing errors, and promoting patient empowerment. The smart medicine dispenser's user-friendly interface, automated dispensing, extensive reminders, and real-time monitoring establish it as an essential tool in modern healthcare, tackling the critical challenge of medication non-adherence.
