Abstract

Conventional approaches to computer network security are unable to keep pace with the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers promising advances in detecting, preventing, and responding to these threats. This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, specifically machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), are transforming network security by facilitating adaptive defense mechanisms, real-time analysis, and proactive threat identification. The paper also discusses challenges, limitations, and future trends in AI-based cybersecurity solutions.
