Abstract

This study focuses on the CIA triad in cybersecurity, which is a fundamental and foundational model for defining, evaluating, and implementing security practices to protect data. It emphasizes three core principles: confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The CIA triad helps organizations assess vulnerabilities, guide security policies, and ensure a robust security posture against a variety of threats. The CIA’s role in cybersecurity is primarily focused on gathering foreign intelligence and conducting cyber operations to protect U.S. national security. This activity is managed through its Directorate of Digital Innovation (DDI), a major division within the agency. The purpose of the CIA is to function, integrate, and manage relationships, organization, and control of heterogeneous technologies such as MD5, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), mobile communication, generalized computer science, security, audit, and compliance. CIA is one of the highest sustainability and innovation and is to improve the assurance of technological quality, safe communication, and productivity every time and all the time.
