Abstract

The goal of this study is to create and produce a mobile sweeping and collection device that is easily transportable. The task of cleaning large spaces like halls can often become labor-intensive and time-draining, necessitating a considerable amount of human effort. This initiative seeks to establish an automated answer that cleans floor areas effectively while requiring very little human involvement. The machine is designed to be both compact and portable, allowing for easy movement and adaptability for various settings. It functions through an electronic control board that streamlines the cleaning operations, thus cutting down on the time and work associated with traditional cleaning methods. The Smart Floor Cleaning Machine incorporates essential elements such as sensors, actuators, and a micro-controller, enabling it to smartly maneuver and clean different types of flooring. The sweeper was simulated and analyzed using SolidWorks, achieving a robot speed of approximately 0.31 m/s, exerting a torque of 220.8 Nm, consuming a total power of 16.8 W, reaching an overall speed of 389.18 rpm, and displaying a torsional deflection of 0.415° twist. Its capability for autonomous or semi-autonomous functionality enhances cleanliness, cost-effectiveness, and practicality, positioning it as an effective instrument for cleaning in both personal and commercial environments.
