Abstract

Sleep apnoea is characterized by frequent interruptions in breathing during sleep, which is often not correctly recognized and frequently underestimated. Obstructive, central, and complex sleep apnoea syndrome are the three primary classifications of this condition. Pathophysiology, risk factors, diagnostic methods, and Clinical protocols for sleep apnoea are the focus of this review article. The latest treatment methods, such as CPAP therapy, surgical techniques, and lifestyle interventions, are also discussed. To prevent long-term health issues such as cardiovascular diseases, stroke, and metabolic disorders, early diagnosis and treatment are essential.
