Abstract

This study delves into the intricate relationship between HR practices and employee performance within the context of cooperative banks. With a focus on the unique dynamics of cooperative banking institutions in Pune, India, this research aims to explore how HR practices impact the performance of employees in these banks. A comprehensive literature review and empirical analysis will examine various HR practices such as recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and compensation regarding their influence on employee performance indicators like productivity, job satisfaction, and retention. By understanding the nuances of HR practices tailored to cooperative banking environments, this study seeks to provide valuable insights for optimizing employee performance strategies in this sector, ultimately enhancing organizational effectiveness and customer service within cooperatives. The survey uses a standard questionnaire. The raw data collected from the study is then analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics tool to measure the correlation matrix and paired t-test and evaluate the principal compound analysis (PCA). The analysis clearly shows that the impact of performance on employees is essential for every organization. The monetary, non-monetary or both should be offered to employees based on their position. Moreover, these various schemes should frequently be incorporated to boost employee satisfaction. Ultimately, this analysis suggests that the incentive system is an unavoidable management tool for maintaining an organization's reliability.
