This article presents an innovative e-voting model that leverages digital technology to enhance modern voting systems. The model is designed to address critical security, privacy, and transparency issues often compromised in traditional voting systems. One common issue in conventional voting methods is the centralization of power within a single organization, which raises concerns about potential data manipulation. The proposed model tackles this by implementing robust security measures encompassing authentication and authorization. Authentication is achieved using a unique identification key assigned to each voter, while authorization is ensured via fingerprint verification. Votes are processed as secure transactions, maintaining transparency and ensuring atomicity and data integrity throughout the voting process. This study is motivated by the imperative to contribute to the ongoing discourse on bolstering the resilience of electoral systems through technological innovation. This approach significantly reduces the chances of tampering and builds a more reliable and secure voting environment, thus improving trust and efficiency in electoral processes.
