Abstract

This study used Just-in-Time techniques to improve surfactant manufacturing. The goal of this approach was to boost performance, increase demand, and enhance customer satisfaction. The improvement process involved analyzing performance metrics to determine production duration. Data was collected simultaneously from the company’s annual output from 2017 to 2021. Variance analysis was used to assess the data. Process cycle efficiency metrics were also applied to evaluate overall performance. Some findings showed efficiency levels of (27.3%, 43.3%), (23.2%, 37%), (19%, 31.6%), (18.2%, 31.6%), and (19.3%, 28.9%). Additionally, the results showed an increase in efficiency over time, both before and after the improvements. This trend suggests that higher production rates are associated with longer production times. The changes made aimed to reduce waste. The findings highlight a significant increase in productivity.
