Abstract

Environmental pollution plays a vital role in the degradation of eco-conscious and sustainable environment. The deterioration of the environment occurs through the decline of natural resources such as air, water, land, soil, etc. The sophisticated industrial sector elevated the pollution levels in the ambient atmosphere. The existing polluted environment creates a threat to the future generation’s well-being. Environmental sustainability can be achieved by providing sustainable technical solutions to protect the environment. The improper management of various types of waste that are discharged from several sources causes the collapse of ecological balance in nature. Nowadays, an approach towards waste minimization and management becomes a mandatory task to conquer the environmental pollution. This research review paper aimed to bring to the notice of the general public the several sustainable technical approaches and benefits of waste minimization and management for the reduction of environmental pollution and to achieve environmental sustainability.
