Abstract

Plastics are now widely used in our daily lives due to their versatile nature. In our day-to-day lives, plastic waste is generated in large quantities, and causes increased environmental impacts and failures in managing plastic waste. This plastic waste lasts a long time since it takes over a hundred years to degrade naturally, making it the most noticeable material in landfills and waste dumps. Although several methods have been developed for processing and recycling plastic waste, they can be used in the production of sanitary walls, tiles, and building materials. Plastic waste in tile making is now gaining researchers' attention. This work aimed to review plastic waste that can be incorporated with construction materials for making tiles.
