Abstract

In this project, we design and develop the ecosystem, an innovative Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled dynamic information display to enhance communication and information dissemination within academic departments. By leveraging a Raspberry Pi-based display output, React JS-powered frontend interface, Python Flask backend API, and MongoDB Cloud database, an ecosystem showcases real-time event posters, notices, timetables, time, and temperature, fostering enhanced communication, collaboration, and campus engagement. This project explores the potential of an ecosystem to transform departmental communication, serving as a model for similar initiatives in educational settings. It highlights its ability to integrate IoT technologies, data analytics, and user-centered design principles to create a scalable, sustainable, and interactive solution for departmental information dissemination.
