Users' Perception and Adoption of Electronic Library System: A Case Study of Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), Kumasi, Ghana

There has been an increasing demand for the introduction of Electronic libraries in universities and educational institutions in Ghana. The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development– AAMUSTED in Ghana recently introduced the electronic library system to the University. This article analyzes the students' perception of the electronic Library and discusses factors that could influence their intentions to use it. Based on the findings, this paper suggested ways the university library's administration could enhance the students' intentions to use the University's electronic library system. It also directs future researchers toward researching the perception and awareness of the electronic library system among health training and colleges of education in Ghana.
