IoT Enabled Laser Security System

As we all know, Laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, and IoT stands for Internet of Things. These are the two different technologies from two different backgrounds. This project aims to integrate these various technologies into a single component to ensure a smart security system in this real world. Laser is the main component of this project because of its characteristics, such as superior monochromatic, directivity, and coherence. Integrating communication and sensor systems—used to gather vital data from things worldwide enables the Internet of Things or IoT. With the help of IoT, we are working to connect all the different components, including sensors, software, and laser technology. The laser system creates a beam of laser light in a wide area across the home doors and compound perimeters. This system works best to detect the intruder who crosses the laser beam. It also triggers the buzzer at the time of intrusion detection. It also sends the message to the owner's phone using Bluetooth. This paper aims to provide high security to a private place with the help of Laser and IoT technology. The proposed architecture outperforms already existing architectures proposed in the literature.
