Abstract

Social media platforms have become integral to college students' daily lives. "A Study on Investigation into the Effects of Social Media Platforms among College Students with Special Reference to Coimbatore City" is a study that significantly influences their behaviours, attitudes, and academic performance. This study aims to investigate the multifaceted impact of social media platforms on college students. We have collected 200 responses from college students with particular reference to Coimbatore city, and the data have been analyzed by providing a complete explanation of the study. SPSS software is used to analyze the collection of data from college students. Statistical tools like descriptive statistics and Friedman ranking tests have been used in this study. Understanding proper communication is essential. Using social networking sites is one of the highly influential factors used by college students towards social media platforms. Understanding the multifaceted impact of social media on college students is essential for navigating its benefits and challenges in the digital age.
