Internet of Things in Mechatronics for Design and Manufacturing: A Review
Abstract
Because of the considerable developments that the Internet of Things (IoT) has brought to the field of mechatronics, it has become an essential component in the design and development of systems that are both intelligent and efficient. Because the Internet of Things (IoT) technology is always advancing, we may anticipate that in the future, we will see even more products and systems that are both innovative and intelligent. It is an exciting time for the industry as it embraces new technology to create a smarter and more connected society. IoT will continue to play an increasingly important role in mechatronics if it continues to expand. IoT plays an indisputable part in the field of mechatronics. It has brought about major advancements in the design and manufacturing processes, making them more accurate, efficient, and individually tailored to the needs of the customer. We can only anticipate that in the future, there will be an increase in the number of mechatronic systems that are both inventive and intelligent, given the ongoing improvements in technology. Despite this, it is necessary to handle the problems and guarantee the safety of the data to fully exploit the potential of IoTs in mechatronics. It is reasonable to assume that in the future, mechatronic systems will be more sophisticated and intelligent as a consequence of the incorporation of the IoT. Incorporating the IoT will become even more streamlined and efficient as a result of the development of 5G technology, which will result in a rise in both the speed of data transfer and the reliability of data transfer. Additionally, we may anticipate seeing additional breakthroughs in the fields of artificial intelligence and automation, which will finally result in the establishment of intelligent factories and completely autonomous systems. This is something that we can look forward to.
