Abstract

Much has changed in the process of living, especially in smart houses. A smart home integrates various external devices such as lighting, heating, cooling, security, and appliances with the IoT or IoT, allowing them to work together without or by remote control. It further describes the potential data applications IoT will have in smart homes. These technologies include sensors, wireless communication, and cloud computing. Finally, it points out the key advantages of smart homes in terms of convenience, energy efficiency, security, and a greater degree of personalization in home management. Homeowners are expected to control their living spaces more efficiently by minimizing energy savings and optimizing the way their resources are used through IoT.

There's the contrary, though, in smart IoT homes. The biggest issue is data privacy and security; since most of these devices are interconnected, the house can suffer attacks through cyberspace. It focuses on this and the considerable complication standards and incompatibilities related to other devices and platforms that must be achieved before operating Home Smart. These are subjects discussed in this paper, as well as the latest developments in IoT security protocols, data encryption, and device interoperability. Based on user preferences and behavior patterns, more enhanced predictive analytics-based energy management and intelligent automation will be available via this new submission. This new cognitive paradigm of smart homes brings many promising perspectives for forecasting behavior through the association between artificial intelligence and machine learning.
