Abstract

Phishing attacks remain one of the most prevalent cyber threats, targeting individuals and organizations to steal sensitive information through fraudulent websites. Traditional phishing detection tools often fail to keep up with the constantly evolving tactics of attackers. PhishGuard introduces an advanced real-time phishing detection system that operates as a multi-browser extension. Leveraging machine learning models, phishing databases, and browser behavior analysis, PhishGuard identifies and mitigates phishing threats instantaneously across multiple browsers. The extension employs Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to analyze webpage content for malicious intent while dynamically checking URLs against a continuously updated phishing database. Additionally, PhishGuard provides users with visual alerts and recommendations to enhance awareness and ensure safe browsing. PhishGuard focuses on the scalability and efficiency of phishing detection, offering a robust solution to the growing landscape of phishing attacks.
